Why small businesses pick PassCryp

Enterprise password managers assume an IT department: SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, on-prem secret gateways, dedicated account managers, six-month rollouts. Small businesses don't have or want any of that — they want a shared vault that works in an hour and doesn't break the budget.

PassCryp drops the enterprise scaffolding. Invite by email, members set their own master passwords, vault keys wrap automatically. Audit logs are on by default. Per-seat pricing scales linearly without surprise jumps at 50, 100, or 500 seats.

Onboarding a 10-person team in 30 minutes

Owner signs up for Pro and creates the team. Invites are sent by email; each member sets their own master password (Argon2id-protected, never seen by PassCryp). The owner creates shared vaults grouped by project — Marketing, Eng, Finance — and assigns members. Vault keys wrap to each member's public key automatically.

From day one, every credential reveal logs. The owner sets a credential rotation schedule (e.g., quarterly for production secrets) and PassCryp emails reminders ahead of due dates. Onboarding new hires is the same flow: invite, assign vaults, done.

What to expect at 50 seats and beyond

PassCryp serves teams up to 50 seats well. Above that, you start needing SAML SSO (so people sign in with company Google), SCIM (so HR provisioning automatically grants access), and compliance attestations (SOC2 Type II). Those features are on the roadmap but not shipping today.

If you need those features now, 1Password Business or Bitwarden Enterprise are the right tools — and we'll happily export your encrypted vault to either. If you're under 50 seats and want to keep your tooling simple, PassCryp is the better fit.

Frequently asked questions

How is Pro different from Business plans elsewhere?

Pro at $5.99/seat/month covers shared vaults, audit logs, and CLI access without an enterprise contract or SCIM minimum. Lower friction, lower price.

Do you have SSO?

SAML SSO is on the 2026 roadmap. For teams under 50, manual invite + Argon2id-protected master passwords is the recommended flow today.

What about compliance — SOC2, HIPAA?

Our control set is built toward SOC2 Type II readiness; a formal audit is scheduled for 2026. For HIPAA-regulated workloads, contact us to discuss BAA options.

Can I see who accessed which credential?

Yes. The audit log captures every reveal, copy, share, and edit with actor, IP, timestamp, and item ID. Export to CSV or JSON.

How does offboarding work?

One-click revoke from the admin dashboard. Session terminates immediately; vault keys rotate for any shared vaults the member had access to.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — 14-day Pro trial, no credit card. Convert to paid or downgrade to Free at the end of the trial.
