Password Manager for Individuals

PassCryp's free tier was built for one person: you. 100 items, unlimited devices, every essential feature. No upsell pressure, no 'free for one device type' trap, no credit card. Upgrade only if you want API keys, attachments, or sharing.

Free for 100 items, forever

Enough for the average user's daily logins — email, banking, social, shopping, streaming.

Unlimited devices

Laptop, phone, tablet, work computer. Same vault, same items, same TOTP codes.

Browser extension included

Autofill on Chrome, Edge, Brave. Generate strong passwords on signup forms. Save credentials automatically.

TOTP built in

Two-factor codes live alongside passwords. No separate authenticator app required.

Breach monitoring

We check your stored passwords against Have I Been Pwned. Get alerted if any of your credentials appear in a known breach.

What you get on Free vs Premium

Free: 100 items, unlimited devices, browser extension, password generator, TOTP, breach monitor, encrypted import/export, secure notes, credit card vault, password strength reports.

Premium ($2.99/month) adds: unlimited items, API key vault with expiry alerts, secure file attachments (up to 1 GB), family sharing for up to 5 members, priority support.

What's not in Free that should be: nothing. Cross-device sync, browser extension, and the generator are baseline 2026 features. We don't paywall them.

How to get the most out of the Free tier

Audit your existing passwords. Most people have 30–80 daily logins; you can fit them in the 100-item limit and still have room for secure notes (passport details, software licenses, Wi-Fi codes).

Use the strength meter to find your weakest passwords first. Rotate them with the generator. Reused passwords are highlighted in the dashboard.

Move your 2FA codes into PassCryp. The TOTP feature is on the Free tier, and consolidating from Google Authenticator means you no longer lose codes when you change phones.

When to upgrade

Upgrade to Premium if you store API keys (provider presets save typing), need file attachments (passport scans, tax forms), or want to share with up to 5 family members.

Upgrade to Pro if you have a side project with secrets to manage (per-environment tagging, project vaults) or want the CLI for terminal workflows.

Stay on Free if your 100-item vault covers everything. We mean it — the free tier is not a teaser, it's the product.

Frequently asked questions

Is PassCryp really free?

Yes — 100 items, unlimited devices, browser extension, generator, TOTP, breach monitor. No credit card, no expiry, no upsell timer.

What happens at 100 items?

Existing items stay readable; new items require Premium. You can also delete unused items to stay under the limit.

Is the free tier limited to one device?

No. PassCryp Free works on unlimited devices and unlimited browsers. We chose not to copy LastPass's old per-device restriction.

Can I import from another manager?

Yes — LastPass, 1Password, Bitwarden, Dashlane, Keeper, NordPass. CSV or native export, automatic field mapping. Import is on the Free tier.

Does Free include 2FA support?

Yes. TOTP codes generate inside the vault on the Free tier; no separate authenticator app needed.

How safe is the free tier?

Same encryption as Premium — AES-256-GCM, Argon2id, zero-knowledge. We do not weaken security on the free tier.
