Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

PassCryp uses a minimal set of browser storage to make the product work. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Below is the complete list of items we set on your device.

1. Essential storage (always on)

We store an encrypted authentication session (Supabase 'sb-*' keys in localStorage) to keep you signed in, a consent record ('pc_consent_v1') reflecting your choices on this banner, your selected interface language ('pc_lang'), and a short-lived in-memory copy of your unlocked vault key. None of these can be turned off — without them the product cannot function.

2. Optional analytics

If you opt in via the cookie banner, we record anonymous, aggregated usage events (which features are used, error rates) to improve PassCryp. No vault content, passwords, IP addresses, or personal identifiers are collected. We do not use this data for advertising and never share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Manage your choices

You can change your preferences at any time from the 'Cookie preferences' link in the footer or from Settings → Privacy & Data. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

4. Third-party services

When you sign in with Google or pay through Stripe, those providers may set their own cookies on their own domains, governed by their respective policies. We do not embed advertising pixels or social-media trackers anywhere on the site. The full vendor list lives on our sub-processors page.
