Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using PassCryp, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
PassCryp is a zero-knowledge password and secrets vault. Vault content is encrypted on your device before transmission; we cannot read or recover it.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for the security of your master password. We cannot reset it.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your Recovery Kit if you generate one.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You must be 13 or older (16+ in the EEA).
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Plans are billed monthly via Stripe in advance. Prices are shown in-app.
- You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- On downgrade or cancellation, vault items beyond your new plan's visibility limit (Free: 100, Premium: 200) are preserved but hidden until you re-subscribe. They are never deleted by us.
- Refunds are issued at our discretion, typically only for accidental duplicate charges.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use PassCryp to store or distribute illegal content.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
6. Disclaimer
PassCryp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Because the service is zero-knowledge, you accept full responsibility for managing your master password and Recovery Kit.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PassCryp is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Update with your chosen jurisdiction.)
